The Project – Replacing an Old Wooden Front Door

We visited our homeowners in September, having worked at their property twice before in 2016. This time, they wanted to install a replacement front door at their terraced townhouse. Their front door set was old, and they were looking for a maintenance free product which provided them with the security they craved.

The Results – A Coloured Composite Front Door

They chose an unusual shade Solidor which looks very attractive in the road. The finished look was completed with gold door furniture which looks lovely against the colour of the product.

The operation of the door is simple but really secure. Our experts also refitted their door chain for additional security. We altered the configuration of the door set, allowing better access and more light into the hallway. The modern materials used for the composite door emulate the look of traditional wood without the upkeep. This low maintenance product won’t need repainting or staining.
