New Windows and Doors Installed in Surbiton, KT6

Sasha from Surbiton lives in a ground-floor maisonette – it’s an older build, and her windows and doors were really showing their age. They were wooden and brittle, meaning that not only were they inefficient in terms of energy, but they also posed a security risk.

The solution

To ensure Sasha’s peace of mind, as well as lowering her heating bills in the long term, we replaced her kitchen and front doors, as well as installing four new windows.

After considering the options available and discussing them with Sasha, we settled on four uPVC windows, one uPVC door and a composite door. Composite doors have the same aesthetic and feel as a wooden door, but do not require the same amount of maintenance. This made a composite door an ideal choice for Sasha, as she did not have to sacrifice on visual appeal. Sasha’s new composite door is strong, highly insulated and very hard-wearing, which has boosted both her home’s security and its energy efficiency.

Similarly, the choice of uPVC windows will mean that Sasha no longer has to worry about rot, rust or fade. These windows are virtually maintenance-free, they’re long-lasting and they offer improved safety – especially in comparison to Sasha’s older wooden frames. As with the composite door, the look of the maisonette did not need to be sacrificed, as there is a wide range of uPVC styles and colours available.

Success!

The end result was a home that Sasha could feel safe in, and, in addition, she is now saving on her energy bills. Most importantly, Sasha herself was incredibly pleased with both the finished product and with how we managed the work while it was under way. As with all jobs, we made sure that we were always in contact with Sasha and she commented that she found the service to be “very professional” from start to finish.
All my questions were answered at the quote stage and nothing was too much trouble,” she said. “The guys who did the installation were great and a pleasure to have in the house and left everything clean and tidy.”

She added that she would “highly recommend” the Hamilton Windows team – a compliment that we take great pride in.

The durability and appearance that composite doors and uPVC windows offer our customers make them a consistently popular choice. If you’d like to know more about what we could do for your home, please feel free to get in touch with the helpful Hamilton Windows team.
